Go to the range and have a blast.

I do this for use in high power competitions. Slung this way you can unhook the sling form the botom swivel and make a loop that fits over you bicep. You can still make a loop for the bicep with the lower "J" hook end but you have the added advantage of using the buckle to tighten/loosen the sling as needed.
