swivel belongs in the big loop.

Nice rifle! The only problem with getting a Garand is that they get lonely and wind up finding friends. I see space on that chair for Miss H. Richardson and

$8.95 shipping. Go to the range and have a blast.

I sling my Garand and Springfields the same as Dalton Wayne. I do this for use in high power competitions. Slung this way you can unhook the sling form the botom swivel and make a loop that fits over you bicep. Vlad

RE: sling...
keep the bottom "J" hook at the bottom but turn the canvas part upside down... You can still make a loop for the bicep with the lower "J" hook end but you have the added advantage of using the buckle to tighten/loosen the sling as needed. |
