$5 war movie collection at Wally World |
Lead | |
|
Rooted through the $5 movie collection at Wally World the other day and found a collection of 20 war movies on four disks in one collection. I'm sure some
of the inclusions probably are in the "Worst war movies of all time" thread, but there were some pretty decent ones, as well. A Walk in the Sun,
Gung Ho, Go For Broke and Corregidor were included, as well as 16 others.

I have a single disc that includes "Go for Broke," "A Walk in the Sun," "Gung Ho" and it is one of my favorite disc's.
Good stuff.

I bought the same 20 movie set in the $5 bin, well worth it just for A Walk in the Sun or Gung Ho. The last disk has examples of how NOT to make any movie,
much less a war movie. Five For Hell, Heroes For Hell, and The Black Brigade wouldn't even pass muster on the History Channel these days. Pretty bad when
you make UFO stories and Axe Men look good.
