When I picked it up I saw it was a Chatellerault, 1893. It was matching, forced match bolt, and had a later stock with sling slots. The mag sling swivel was there. Bore is good but not shiney. It has a pine cone stamp on the stock. I forget who did this. Bluing is nice. This is the first Chat I have ever seen. I paid 250 for it, which seems a little high but the guy was firm and the rifle spoke to me. To the range I will go tomorrow......chris3
