Scope Suggestions?RWS-48 |

What is a good inexpensive scope for a RWS-48. Has anyone had problems with shifting mounts or rings? Not looking to spend bu-coo dollars but descent quality
is the goal.

I don't think any inexpensive scopes that will hold up on a high powered spring gun. I broke two Burris scopes on an RWS 350 after Burris assured me they
would stand up to the abuse. The Bushnell Elite 3200's or older B&L Elite 3000 scopes will hold up on high powered spring guns. I have a couple Elites
on springers and haven't had any problems yet. The Leupolds will hold up too, but you're talking a bit more money there. A Bushnell Trophy might work,
but I wouldn't go any further down down the Bushnell line than a Trophy.

Which Burris scopes did you try? This M48 doesn't seem to have as much recoil as the Spain/daisy/Winchester POS that got replaced. The scope that came
with it [the POS] held up just fine. It was the rings and mounts that would not hold. The tube was so pounded out of round by the rings bending, I threw it
out. This new M48, has some good sights on it. I may just keep it that way.

I don't remember the power, but they were from the Fullfield II line with adjustable objectives.
