It's a Carl Gustafs Stands, Gevarsfaktori 1921, it's in VG condition matching #'s bore is bright and great rifling. Wood is VG+ looks like beech? What do you guys think? I found out from another board that you get a barrel stamped when it gets inspected, and then you get another stamp when they install the barrel to reciever and add the sights and inspected. But said he had never seen a "F" on a barrel???

It is also possible that an apprentice inspector with only a single letter stamp had marked it in-process, as part of training, prior to official final acceptance. I can tell you in that condition, all matching with the last arsenal rating of bore condition still at 1, Finn marked and 1921 being a year of low production ( 5,198 units) all makes your rifle a very desirable collectors piece. VERY NICE!!!

It is in VG condition, but it has a few bruses and one chip out of the stock, but does not hinder on how it funtions and for being made in 1921 a guy has to expect that. I wander how much you would have to pay to make one of these today, for the wookmanship put into these rifles, with full wood stock and fit and finish. Gee I thought there was more than that made in that year, Going to get that special book "The Crown Jewels".

There are three main shapes of these crowns which tell you who manufactured the part. The stamps on the rifles stockset (lower part of wrist) show military acceptance, inspections, major and minor repairs where prformed. All the rest are still unknown as to origin. Jim
