help i now have in my collection in a trade a carcano with the markings fna-b on top of barrel and ra39xxx stock has has re or rb 2640 crossed out also the #4000 on it i belive this is a moschetto ts but i am not sure can any body help me get some information on this weapon

Welcome Swabby. FNA-B = Fabbrica Nazionale d' Armi - Brescia. From the RA serial number prefix I would guess that your carbine is late WWII production,
1944-45. There was a discussion on another gun forum (gunboards??) about the correct Italian plural form for "Carcano", and a native Italian speaker
said that you don't put an i on the end of Carcano to make it plural.
