Bulgarian Makarov |

Just got a Bulgarian Makarov to replace the one I had stolen from me a couple of years ago. I have now replaced all the stolen guns.

I had an Ishevsk Makarov for a few years and loved it. Reliable and reasonably accurate for self-defense. Carried easily, with a spare mag in one of my hiking
shorts cargo pockets. I bought a replacement set of grips of soft "neoprene" or similar material that gave me an excellent hold with the pistol. Very
nice pistol; wish I hadn't traded it away. .380 isn't much "clout" but it beats hell out of a rock or sharp stick on hiking trails. My wife
and daughter never even suspected that I "carried" - the pistol is so concealable. Good on ya!

Bulgy Mak | ||

The condition is outstanding. I think you'll like this one. I actually prefer my Bulgy commercial Mak to my East German military, it seems to be just a
little more accurate. As Ed Novak implies, you can't stop a horde of rampaging zombies with it, but it will serve you well.

Patriotic1 sorry to hear that the cops never found any of your stolen guns, I remember that was three or four years ago. But at least your were able to replace
all of them!

acc8090,
Actually, the police did recover one gun. It took me six months to get it back from them. It was evidence in the case against the guy that had it. It was damaged and I already had bought a replacement for it, so I sold it. This guy is doing time now, as is the thief that stole them. They caught him too. The police did good work in catching these guys, which I am greatfull for, But I am still out a couple grand. At least I don't miss them as much now that I have replacements. There have also been a lot of new additions along the way, so all in all life is good. P.S. My avitar is another one of the replacements.

Those are really nice little pistols. I finally fired one a little over a couple of years ago and I really liked it. One of those would make a nice inexpensive
carry weapon if you have your license. I know I would carry one and I'm a little choosy on what I carry. 'Course anything that goes "BANG!"
and the mechanical integrity is good, it's better than nothing.
