Nice rifle. Thanks for posting the pictures. I haven't seen one with a hex reciever that formerly had a scope mounted on it. Carl

Great looking. Nice not bad price for Ex-sniper 1935's are few. 70+ views and 2 replies that sucks.

Ataturk wrote:It IS a nice rifle; thanks for sharing the photos; how about a closer view of the left side of the rifle assembled? It is summer time; stuff to do, clean the garage, work on the deck, plant the garden, maybe get to the range, etc., etc. Reading the forum takes 4th, may 5th place in "things to do" at this time of year. But I understand the sentiment.

Pics are a lot easier to look at when you don't have to click on another link, to another site to look at them.
Love the Tula Markings!

IMG]http://i686.photobucket.com/albums/vv227/rgsamsel/Tula%201935%20Ex-Sniper/DSC01758.jpg[/IMG] Kept loosing front site in target. Cloudy Day be for storm.
Tried again Today, Forgot bayonet. So it was hitting high right. So I used the old Kentucky wind-age Aim low and left.

You can never have too many Tula made rifles is the moto of several here. Nice rifle, good strong markings, the metal looks to be in good shape.

That would be a PE scope or PEM scoped Ex-sniper with the date on that rifle. Not as often seen as the PU scoped later rifles. I have been in and out so much
lately I am just catching up on my forum reading. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us and realize most of these guys work and grass grows madly this time
of the year. Bill

bobbo: Thanks for the left-side photos, rifle assembled. Really a very nice rifle. Wood is excellent. One of our posters repaired a damaged heel on his rifle -
hope he sees the one on your rifle (which is perfectly fine if not very nice) as a comparison to the very nice work he did. Again, thanks for the extra views.

That last target, with Kentucky windage and without bayonet is a very nice group. Did you you try any heavy-ball at all? Believe that you have a fair but early
idea about how the rifle (and you) can shoot. Thanks.

I will be picking up some silver bear this week end. Do you have any suggestions for a good heavy ball. Any idea what was used in these sniper rifles back
than?

Some of the Bulgarian heavy ball I had shot great but some other was giving everyone fits and problems so I wouldn't recommend that. I frankly don't
remember whether the Yugoslavian I have is heavy ball or not off the top of my head but if you can find it I think it is the best ammo I have ever shot through
any Mosin I own. Some of the old Albanian ammo I have shoots really good too but again I can't recall whether it is heavy ball or not? Ammo is so high
these days that I am just shooting my older ammo and buying little unless it is a real bargain and I recognize what it is. Bill

You can't have too many Mosins! You can't have too much ammunition, either. Carl

Nice rifle bobbo. I just scanned through the site today myself. Lots to do outside as stated above.
I too am haveing trouble seeing sights/target etc. I'll have to use a 50yd target to get the picture. There is a reason the Navy used 18 year olds as lookouts.
