I am trying to do some research on the Enfield No 2 mk
1, Mk 1* and Mk 1 ** revolvers and would like some help from the forum. I need serial numbers along with the dates on the side plate or dates from the top of
the barrel on later guns. If you own one of these fine revolvers I could sure use the help in researching serial number ranges. Thanks
It appears that most serial number and date ranges that I have read are not accurate. I will post the results once I have compiled enough serial numbers to come up with accurate estimates. If you want to send partial numbers that is fine, Example C 12XX. Any other info. like unit numbers on backstrap or cylinder codes would also help. Thanks for your help. Charlie
