We had been friends but his position in this last election drove a wedge between us. I had wanted to "agree to disagree" and stay off the subject altogether but he couldn't accept that. I really regret the rift had not been healed. Too late now. And it were over politics... Never mind that, as far as internet connection could allow, I saw him as a good man. Although our viewpoints didn't always agree, we had the connection of being over there at the same time. My prayers are with his family and friends. RIP my brother in arms.
