There is one for sale that has matching numbers (stock, bolt & floor plate), nice stock and comes with a sling and ammo pouch and the asking prices is $169.00. Is this high, low or moderate? I don't really need it, but it looks very nice and I don't have one to go with my 48 and 48A.

Thanks Greg. May have to back and get it since I can't get the stock out of my mind. It's a nice dark brown with some black stripes here and there
running along it with no dings. Rifle looks un-issued, but I did not check the bore. Looks like a 2nd trip for me.

My 24/47 is in excellent refirb condition. I paid $199 less than a year ago for it. That was a bit high and I knew it, but I'm happy with the rifle and
that's what counts.

For only $169, you would have some competition to the shop that has it if you said where it was located! I personally like them more than I do the M48 and
variants. To me, the M24/47 is the Mauser man's Mauser.
