I was cleaning one of my pistols today when my 4 year grandson arrived. "Whatcha doin papaw?" . "Cleaning a gun"."Can I watch?".
"You sure can".
After soaking a patch in Hoppe's # 9 I said "Smell this"......"Smells good" he says..........Made my day........   
Collecting (fill in the blank) is a disease with no cure. You can only treat the symptoms by buying more. ha ha

For years I've suggested to young women who want to attract the 'right' kind of man to wear a dab of #9 behind each ear.... the result should be
crystal clear.

...but the real reason I shoot my firearms is so I can clean them with Hoppes afterwards

I shot a carp with a .45 once , does that count ? I took it up to the house and my wifes Grandma filleted it . Gee where I come from we used 'em for tomato
