lightening 7.62x54r loads?
First of all, I have never reloaded ,so this may be a dumb question, but... I was wondering if it is feasible to take military surplus 7.62x54r ammo, often in steel cases, and pull the bullet, reduce the power charge and reinstall the bullet to make some lower power loads that wife and kids could tolerate. I suspect it would be possible with modern brass cased ammo, but can it be done with steel cased ammo?
