I seldom shoot my military guns any more , but when I do , I certainly appreciate them , the Garand being one of my favorite . I ran a variety of ammo through it today in a short shoot . The 147 gr. FMJ Korean stuff printed three 5 shot groups that averaged 4" at 100 yds using N.R.A. military targets . I was surprised that some heavier ammo , Remington 180 gr Core Lokt shot 2" av. And needless to say was smiling very big each time I looked through the spotting scope . The 165 gr. A.P. shot 4.25" av. and Remington 165 gr Accutip shot 2.5" another happy face . I do have a question though , since the Core Lokt shot so well , do you think it would be ok as a regular fodder for the Garand , or do you think it might be a bit much for the Garand ? Thanks , Kenneth
