How do I fix this? Or, can it be fixed?

I offer the following info as to the way I fixed mine. The tools that you will need: 2-1 Drill adapter Small hammer Calipers Tap drill adapter in to back of action to open up ears. Check dim (Should be about .978 +-) Hope this helps. Swede Nelson

My method involved using the claw end of a hammer in the receiver and hammering on the face of the hammer in the receiver to spread it out. Checked often with calipers and the bolt I was going to use on it. Worked fine, but not as precise. -Brian
