I have loaded up 30 rounds with 49.4 grains of H4895, COL at 3.100. Does any body have any load data using the 175 grain Sierra with IMR4320 and IMR4064. I want to try the IMR powders and see if it is going be more accurate than H4895. Thanks, gearyr.

Posts: 6318 Nov 18 06 6:59 PM Forum Site Moderator Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I use 47.5grs of IMR-4064 as a MAX LOAD behind a Remington 185gr. core-lokt. Based on this, I'd say that with a 175gr. bullet, 43grs. of IMR-4064 would be a good starting point, possibly working your way up as high as 48grs., watching for signs of excess pressure as you work up. -------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

This would represent a typical "RemChester" US-Made commercial loading. This load would be great in a Commission-88 or Turk-'93 action, but the '98-action will take quite a bit more. -------------------------------------------------------- What part of "shall not be infringed" don't you understand?

Posts: 802 Nov 19 06 3:07 PM Veteran member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	I use 48.0g IMR 4064 for the sierra 175's. Seems to do well in my Rem 700 Classic 8x57 and my Husky 146 sporter 8x57. I believe I was getting 2650 fps.
