I found that old west scrounger has some but for $34.00 for 20 rounds of 150 Grain, and $44.00 a box for 140 Grain! Does anyone know of any other source for ammo, I do reload with a dillon 550, but have not done any rifle rounds, just pistol stuff! Any advice? Thanks! Fred

I got the membership, so I will give it a try...... and hope it is NOT back ordered! Graf and sons does as well for a little bit more money! 'Nother dumb question, I know the Arisaka round is 7.7 x 58 Jap, but does anyone know what 7.7 x 56 R is, it will chamber in my Arisaka, but due to a heavy rim, it will not fit bolt face! (don't worry.... I would never fire unknown ammo in a mil-surp! ! ! 'was just curious!), it looks a lot like .303 Brit. I have a box, but not sure where it came from, any ideas? Thanks! Fred

I think Grafs has just a 'handling charge" of a few bucks and then they pay the freight.... Sportmans Guide may charge you quite a bit more for shipping... If you have a Currio And Rellics license Grafs will discount those prices for you.

Posts: 2073 Nov 3 07 5:23 PM Veteran member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Since you're a reloader....get some of the fast dissappearing 7.62X54...pull the bullets and powder. Work up a load and use new Jap brass from Graf's. I have had much success doing this.

Using 54R Bulgarian HB ( yellow tip) 180grn projectiles and a 10% reduced charge, loaded in fresh GRAF 7.7x58mm cases have produced good results for me as well. ------------------ Join us at - milsurpshooter.net
