Got some ammo |

Just ordered two cans of the WASP 5.45 x 39 mm from AIM. Hope it comes 2 tins to a wooden crate. That makes me over 5,000 rounds of it. I know it's all
corrosive, but a good deal anyway. Almost went the Bulgarian heavy ball, but well, maybe next month.

Five thousand rounds without a working firearm to run it through? Man, you're hardcore!
A bullet through the eye settles most arguments.

Well, there are some of us who look at things that way. It always provides a good excuse for another rifle purchase in the future. I remember buying some 8X56R
ammo in the en blocs and the neat boxes several years before I even knew what rifles used that cartridge. It was just neat stuff to look at. Probably had that
stuff laying around for five years or so until the M-95 carbines came on the market and now I have two of the carbines. I have also around 650 rounds of ammo
to go with them tucked away.

Well, I AM "hardcore" but haven't been totally open.....I have one functioning AK 74 (Romo with the upwards-bent cocking handle) but also a
Polish "Tantal" kit I bought in '05 when the big "kit crunch" hit. I'd rather have non-corrosive, but that's expensive and
sells out fast. This stuff is in sealed tins, and I like that a lot!
I REALLY wanted to build a Class III Krinkov in 5.45 and a semi-auto AK-74 "support-section" rifle....but the kits were too much when I wanted them.

"but that's expensive and sells out fast"
Widener's Shooting Supplies has had Wolf MC Classic the whole year, less than 17 cents a round delivered. 70 grain N/C. Not as cheap as combloc corrosive, but in today's market I wouldn't call it expensive ........ |
