Has anyone ever purchased a CZ 82 from M G S ? I called last week to get a quote on the total cost pistol, and shipping. He said $199.95 + $15.20 for shipping. I was dumb founded! I asked him how come all the other dealers charge an arm and a leg for overnight air shipping, and he told me that he can send it parcel post. He added that the others are pulling our leg about they're having to ship overnight. Centerfire charges $39.50 + $3.50, AIM charges $35.00, SOG charges $19.20, which is not all that bad. Have all the others have been rooking us and taking advantage of us, Just wondering PLEASE !! give me some input here. the fabber39

I thought I always read that they HAD to overnight them by law. However that may just be all internet myth. It doesn't make sense that I can mail a machine gun, sawed off shotgun, high capacity magazine taking guns, but have to overnight pistols? Doesn't make sense. R-Guns is only charging $10 for a "gunboards.com group buy" on Nagant Revolvers to ship the handguns. Doesn't sound like enough for overnight.

FFL01, not 03 can receive handguns vias USPS. UPS REQUIRES hand guns to be sent ovenight. FEDex regulations say ALL firearms must be shipped overnight. my .02 J

Been waiting for a CZ 82 since they were put on the c&r list, and now's the time. SOG has the best price on 9x18 mak ammo, Wolf for $7.95 a box, and 9x18 mak MFS for $8.95 a box I think. If any one know's of any cheaper ammo let me know. Thank's for the info, and input. the fabber39

"Statement by Shipper of Firearms" Right at the top of the form it states "This form can only be used by manufacturers or dealers of firearms." Then further down "The undersigned is a manufacturer of firearms or bonafide dealer therein, and the parcels presented for mailing herewith are customary trade shipments or other articles for repair or replacement of parts. To the best of my knowledge and belief, the addresses are manufacturers of firearms or bonafide dealers therein." So Legally only dealers or manufacturers can send handguns to other dealers or manufacturers through the mail. ATF doesn't care how you ship only that you comply with shipper's regulations. www.newphillysports.com

Folks....caveat....be careful! Keep your CC safe. I never got a straight answer from them either. Might have been a fluke....dunno. Just a warning to be careful with MGS.
