One vendor had a Polish M44 MN on display. The metal and the wood were at 100%. It was absolutely Pristine.
He said that he had just gotten it. It still had cosmo all over it. Just took it out of the box.
The Polish obviously put more craftmanship and finish work into their rifles. The stock was even a better grade of wood than the Russians. Is the Polish M44
considered a superior rifle to the Russian version?
I did not look at the barrel due to the fact that I would have gotten cosmo all over me. Would assume that the bore condition would have been 'mint' just like the rest of the rifle.
He was asking $350. Seemed quite high to me. Although, it looked like an unissued rifle. If I was 'flush'
with cash, I might have thought about it. It was that nice!!
What is your opinion on the price. Also, who is currently selling these Polish rifles? I wouldn't mind trying to find the distributor and try my luck as getting a nice rifle like this one.
Thank you for any response and info.
