I am a real newbee concerning Japanese firearms.....so be kind. I have a T99 with the serial # 98239 ....the good parts...stocks does not appear to have been
refinished....aircraft sights are complete....monopod is on the rifle...has a chrome lined bore. The bad I need some parts to complete...magazine box with
spring & follower......complete bolt & a cleaning rod. This my first T99 so If those of you that are knowledgeable can the year of manufacture can be
determined from the serial number & are all T99 parts interchangeable...I of course would prefer parts of the same generation, but our preferances are not
always probable.

I would suggest looking at GunBroker, Auction Arms and similar sites, Numrich Arms and Sarco, and as a last despart measure "fleaBay."
To bad it's not a Type 38, I have a spare bolt there. Eric

bubba diid his majic on the one I have to trade ...barrell & stock have been cut down ( with a hatchet & hacksaw) front sight looks like a piece of
bailing wire...whata mess, but action ,bolt & magazine well ,spring & follower is complete & appears to be in quite good condition.
