First, I apologize if this has been discussed already: I searched and did not find.
I've been considering getting my concealed carry permit for a few years now and so have read up on my state's laws regarding the issue. One thing
I've noted is that (in addition to Federal property and banks) I cant carry on posted private property, which around here is anything from Wal-Mart to a
gas station to the Mall. It seems as though 2 out of every 3 businesses has posted "NO CONCEALED WEAPONS" somewhere. That got me
thinking "What's the point of getting the permit and carrying if no place around here will actually allow it?" The simple and logical
answer (at least to me) is "If it's concealed, they wont know it's there." Granted, I could probably get into a fair amount of
trouble if I got caught, and I don't like causing problems, but at the same time I cant shake the thought of what they don't know wont bother them.
I've always tried to be respectful of the wishes of others, but this has me frustrated. So the question I pose is this: What would you do?

. All those signs do is hassle the lawfully licensed concealed carry people.

Second, the signage required for prohibiting carry is a minimum
11"x14" sign with 1" letters, though that to me is a moot point since legally there is nothing criminal about carrying in a prohibited area.
Third, I found that a MO CCW permit is part of your driver's license, which means if I ever have a cop ask for my license, he'll immediately know
I'm permitted to carry. I know some states require you to present your (seperate) CCW permit along with your license. Here the legislators just made it
easy.
