some scoped not being able or taking a pounding...
i have a M44 looking to add a scope,
i already ordered a
Advanced Technology Mosin Nagant 7.62x54 Monte Carlo Stock MOI0300
will need a Mount and scope ..

To your point about scopes being able to take a pounding - don't you think a scope that is made to take the pounding from a S&W 44magnum or Taurus Raging Bull in 454Casull, will be able to take the pounding of an M44 Carbine? Hence the recommendation to use a PISTOL SCOPE with my scout mounts.
