Does any one know where a stock for a krag 1895 musket could be found. My duess is they would be scarcer than hens teeth.

I bet your right about that.Could it really be a 1892,or 1896,1898 rifle?Try S and S firearms for a reproduction stock.

Replacement stocks are as scarce as hens teeth. I bought a full replacement stock from Bob's Gun Shop, in Royal Arkansas. They are
"semi-finished" so expect to have to put a lot of work into the stock when you get it. Do you already have a cut down stock? If so, you might think
about a fore end replacement. The other part you will need is an upper hand guard. S& S sells those. Good luck in your project.
