I'll try it out tomorrow (I think) and see what happens. (with the recoil of these things, it will probility blow the brass off the front sight.)
AS always this is not a trick question, any one can answer.

M-95 sight |

I just brazed one of my front sights on my M-95 rifle(not carbine) and tried to raise it about an 1/8" . Has anyone done this??: This rifle is shooting
about 18" high at fifty yards.

well all worked out. I shot the rifle today and it shot to point of aim. My front sight job did good.
I was at point of aim with low vel. jacketed bullets(205 gr.) and with 200 gr. lead I had to raise the rear sight to the 600 yd . mark. I was shooting 205 gr. Hornadys with 34 gr;s of IMR 4895. I think this load is too low. I'll walk up the scale a see how the higher weights shoot. the lead bullets were 200 gr. with 16 gr. of 2400. I've heard that 17 are even 18 grs of 2400 works. Pat |
