I recently inherited the rifle pictured below. I don't know much about the Husqvarna rifles and was hoping
that someone could assist me in finding out the model number as well as any history behind this particular model.
What I do know about this gun is that it was purchased brand new by the owner. He took it to a local custom gunsmith and had the barrel glass embedded and he also had custom inlaying done on the stock. The sope is a Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A in 2.5x-8x.
The original owner did not like the recoil of the rifle and shot less than 2 boxes of shells through it before packing it away. I was also given the original boxes of shells and sure enough, there was less than 2 boxes shot.
The gun is in immaculate condition and it looks brand new. It's in such good shape that I am almost hesitant to take it in the woods hunting.
Is this a decent rifle? Any information you could give on this rifle would be much appreciated!!!
