Where to find affordable .30 carbine ammo? |

Have taken advantage of the CMP Inland service grades and having difficulty finding decent ammo. How is the Wolf .30 carbine to fire? Looking for all comments
here. Thank you in advance friends.

The CMP pages have a warning against shooting steel cased ammo in the carbine. I use home grown with components from Jeff Bartlett.

Either two or three years ago, .30 Carbine ammo seemed to be non-existant around here for some still unknown reason. Mall Wart normally stocks a few boxes of
it, but they said they have not had any for over two months and could not get any in. So I ended up buying a 500 round case of S&B ammo from J&G Sales.
Wouldn't you know it, but about two weeks after my case arrived, the store shelves were again stocked with it!

GA arms has 500 rounds of 110gn FMJ in a 30 cal can for $150.
ammunitiontogo.com usually has reassembled LC for around the same price. I shoot Wolf in my '43 Inland when I don't want to have to pick up brass (one of those OCD things) like on our scout shoots. The only extractor I have ever broken happened while shooting Wolf.

You got your carbine from the CMP, try them for your ammo, also.
