Cool pix, and great start on your collection. Thanks for posting. Hey I have a question on the sight leaf on your Mauser -- does it have numbers on both sides,
under the leaf like on the top?
Don't worry about the expended rounds in the cat box. Actually, if you named your cat Mauser it would fit right in with the collection. What kind of groups do you get with the Mauser (rifle)? I'd say if the cat can hit the box you're good to go. My old girlfriend's cat used to crap on her pillow because he didn't like me...

I do have a cat named Mauser, though my Lady insists it's supposed to be Meowser. Good cat though, he won't use the box unless he absolutely has to,
much prefers the great outdoors!
It must be just me, but I don't see a box anywhere?!?! |

Here's the deal on the double sided sight leaf. Info is courtesy from Hessenfesser from the Yugo board:
"It's so you can set the sights without moving the rifle. Try setting the sights while in prone position without using the extra markings and you'll see why." ~Hessenfesser |

I gotta ask, where did you get the bow? I like anything that projects a projectile, modern semi's old singles and sticks and strings. My bow is a PSE
Marksman Long bow. But looking at a Rudderbows English Warbow. I am also looking at getting my first Mauser. See "Mitchel Mauser 24/47?" post. I
have a Savage #4mk1* Lee Enfield. I am in progress to getting a M91/30 MN rifle as well as an M44 Carbine.
Last Cool Collection. |

That is possibly a Yugo rework mauser. The bayo, frog and scabbard appear Yugo. The Yugos used a sight leaf marked on both sides and that blue job looks Yugo.
Any markings on it? Crest? a /48 on the side rail? Nice bow. I can't say I ever saw the like before. Diplomacy is the art of saying nice doggie until you can find a rock. Will Rogers |
