Century Savage Made No 4 |

Has anyone bought a Savage made No 4 rifle from Century lately? If so, what shape was it in? They advertise them as "good". What was the condition of
the bore? Were the action and bolt S/N's matching or am I expecting too much? TIA.

I bought one that was "good with cracked stock" earlier this year and love it. They come to you filthy so be prepared to do some major cleaning
prior to firing. Here is a pic of mine after cleaning with original stock and then with blond replacement.

Nice looking rifle. Where did you acquire the new stock? I have a rifle needing some new furniture and that looks like it would be better than having a stock
of mixed old and new.
