Looking to ID a Steyr rifle that I recently bought and the caliber. It has a turn bolt action, Mannlicher feed, looks similiar to a Chilean 7mm mauser. The
crest is clear of markings, the only marking being Steyr 1904 on the left side of the chamber, and a very small eagle on the right where the charger is
inserted. Really a fine looking rifle with very very good blue, wood, and barrel. Bayonet lug is on the right of the barrel. The barrel end swallows a 7mm, not
a mauser 8mm. My hunch is that its 8x50.
There is no cross bolt.
I did the usual searches in my books and internet; closest reference was that this model was an export. Appreciate any help.

Looking at a commercial C&R site, my rifle was described as a Mannlicher 1907. The small eagle was listed as a phoenix rising, as in an Irish contract rifle. The two look identical.
