DOU42 K98k |

Hi - New guy here, looking for some help. Just got a K98k DOU42. All matching except follower and screws, no stamps on them. Serial 9xxxc. Seller had doubts
about authenticity so I got a good price. All numbers and proofs look good per BOTW. I've seen an article that say some DOU42 guns may not be perfect due
to occupation. I'm looking for some reference one way or the other. Might be able to post some pics later if needed. Thanks in advance for any help.

welcome to the board . there is nothing the matter with a dou rifle .the finial finish may not be as nice as the early guns but they are built to the same
standards .both dou and dot rifles were made in czechoslovakia

Appreciate the info DOU44. I think this one will be a keeper. BTW, I saw that you had posted a link a couple of years ago for some good data on Czech weapons
and subcontractors. Looks like the link isn't good anymore, do you know the new address? Thanks.
