Gentlemen...Just lucked into a KAR 88 (Erfurt 1896) and have a couple questions. First, has anyone used the Privi Partisan ammo in either their KAR or GEW 88s?
It is listed with the low pressure Remchester stuff rather than the hot S&B or Norma, and since it uses a heavier 196 gr. bullet at 2181 fps rather than
the 170 gr. at 2360 fps I thought it might be closer to the original loading and therefore more accurate. Also, the regimental marking on the nose cap has me
stumped. It reads A.M.X. 7.13. Does anyone know what unit this stands for? Thanks in advance.
