How do i know which cleaning rod I need for my rifle if i would like to get the one that would origanally fit into the space for it. I know theres a 10 inch

Remove the lower band.If you can see the rod nut,you need a 10".If you don't you need a 12.5".If you don't want to remove the band,then
straighten a coat hanger and run it down the rod channel till it stops.Then mark it at about the middle of the sight base and measure.
