Picked this up today at the Phoenix Crossroads show. A converted Dragoon (IIRC) with a 1928 manufacture date and the Cyrillic script across the receiver.
$100 OTD, and a really nice specimen. In fact, the dealers there had some of the nicest M91/30 refurbs I've seen in a while, with a lot of hex receivers
and pre-1930 dates. Don't know if this is a new shiment or just older stuff that they haven't got to yet.
The finish appears to be a oil-type finish, unless it's just worn-down shellac.

Cool! It even has the correct style dragoon-early 91/30 stock with the screwed in sling slot escutcheons. Now you need to find a correct handguard with the
brass endcaps to replace the one with stee endcaps that is currently on it.
