Two wonderful rifles that unfortunately for me are duplicates. Must go to 001 or 003, no exceptions. image
Swedish M96 - 1900 Oberndorf Waffenfabrik Mauser w/wonderful, shiny bore, correct sling, Metal Range card and disk marked "1" and "6". Never refinished, matching VG+. Rear sight is a Vesteras micrometer wheel (see Dana Jone's "The Crown Jewels", p 212). Great shooter, 8 " high at 100'. $400 shipped.
Savage No. 4 Mk. 1*- US Property marked, olive repro sling, "FR" on R side buttstock, "52" on metal wrist, "47" on L side wrist wood. Bore is wonderful, shiny, like new. Never refinished. VG+. $330 shipped.
These two break my heart- but collection size must be reduced. I have no way to do pics, must borrow camera and this may take a significant amount of time (am laid up at present). 3-day inspection is fine. PMO only.
Trades could be up or down for Radom 35, Lahti 40, Madsen, Sauer 38, IBM carbine, S&W 29 or 52, nice Garand.
