Tried 5 different types of ammo with largely the same problem. Is this common with the M39? Just ordered a M39 tall sight from Tennessee Gun Parts to correct this when I got home..... Anyone have experience with the tall sight they can share? I'll post pics of it.... it's a 1941 VKT in a wartime stock with lots of tiger striping... quite the beauty. Thanks, Mike

I don't have a m39 so I can't address that but I'd sure like to see the pics when you can post them. IMO they are one of the best after market items available. I don't shoot past 100 yds, so a rifle zeroed at 150 or 200M isn't much use to me. The sights fit well, look GOOD!!!!! and are easy to file down to get the correct point of impact. After adjustments I have blued the white areas and except for the height stamp on the original, you can't tell the difference. I have saved all of my original sights and will mix/match if necessary. Hope this helps.
