The box is kinda Ox Blood in color. Has very little printing, other than a warning.
It has "Reloadable & Non-Corrosive"
Custom Made Ammunition
Any one know who made this?

Only stuff I have ever gotten was in the blue and white sky like box, thinking it was Serbian or something modern from that area. Bought it from Coles at Knob
Creek I think. No longer have any Argentines and I think I still have a box of ammo somewhere too. Remember it shot pretty good and I liked the rifle but just
not my cup of tea! Have no idea who makes the stuff you are describing, no markings huh! Tough to figure where that came from, color rings no bells for me,
Sorry! Bill

A quick google search shows this headstamp is from:
Måtravidèki Fèmmüvek, H-3332 Sirok, Hungary, for: Armscorp USA Inc., Baltimore, MD from: Curtis, Lewis E., III, 9mm Parabellum Headstamp and Case Type Guide, GIG Concepts Inc., San Antonio, Texas, 1996-2002, lcurtis@msn.com on: http://www.cartridgecolle...s.org/headstampcodes.htm This was from a collection of headstamps for 9mm, so who knows. The only other LC headstamp I know of is for Lake City, and I don't know that the US's Lake City arsenal would have been making 7.65 Argie ammo in 1968.

I am going off track a little here. Should be in the reloading thread.
I think I will pull these bullets, only one box. Save the 180 grain bullet for one of my other rifles. Scatter the powder across the yard and reload with some 150 grain with a starting load from the manual. What say you? skd

Sounds reasonable to me. Probably safer too. There is a lot of click-bang and click-click-click 7.65 Argie ammo out there, but most I have seen is their San
Francisco headstamp. I have a good bit of it though, and it goes off for me. So, who ever really knows.

What ever the powder it is, is very fine. 37.0 grains and fills the case just short of the neck. .310 round nose 180 grain bullet.
19 more to pull. skd

Any chance it MIGHT be Lake City '68 30.06 brass reformed to 7.65 Mauser?

I forgot all about that, and it's all the more reason for him to dump them out and reload.

Yes, I have a couple 30-06 cases a friend sent me on blue printing and the head stamp is like peas in a pod to that of the 7.65.
I'll just pull the bullets and scatter the powder. Not much loss. Better satisfaction. skd
