The night sky also turns in the opposite (clockwise) direction when viewing the celestial rotational pole. Have a ton of fun, and keep us posted!

You'll also soon get used to the kangaroos hopping across the road in front of you. And we don't actually throw shrimp on the barby, we throw prawns on the barby. And even big hairy guys (ie 'blokes') wear 'thongs' over here - it's okay to go into a rough pub over here and ask if anyone has seen your thongs. What's on the itinery? And when will you be here? I'm going on 4 weeks annual leave now (sort of forced as a result of our economic downturn, but am okay - I've got 8 weeks owing) and plan to go hunting - pigs as a minimum but trying for scrub bull. I wanted to shoot buffalo in the Northern Territory but it's too expensive - they only offer guided hunting of buffalo, for insurance purposes (you know, to provide back-up in case your shot only makes them mad ). I think I posted earlier that I'm in Brisbane.

They call them a stick! My neighbor and his wife,both pilots rented an airplane and toured Australia, They had a ball. My brother was there in 1943 courtesy of Uncle Sam.
