I bought a tin of it but I havent shot it yet. I opened it and its in good packaging and looks to be pretty good.

The reason I ask, is back about a dozen years ago when the Mosin-Nagant rifles started showing up on the market, they were cheap, but no ammo was available for them. I bought two of the rifles just because I thought they were neat, but I had to wait a whole year before any milsurp ammo started showing up for them. And that first milsurp ammo available around here was Bulgarian and it shot very good. However, it was brass cased, not steel cased. Sadly, I don't recall the date of it either. Curt

I received russian light ball year 1976 made at factory 60. Clean ammo and it looks new. It shot EXTREMELY WELL from my finn m91/30,with a tikka 1944 barrel. I plan on buying another case as soon as I find out if I have a job to pay for it. The czech is also good shooting ammo.

Sorry no, I couldn't find any info on when it was loaded. It says that it's steel cased on the website but it looks like brass. Its steel core as well.

Best to check the cases with a magnet if you have any doubts. Curt
