Greetings All,
I sent in my renewal in early May. My current expiration date is June 30. Is it normal to take this long? Is there a phone number or web site to inquire? Thanks, John |

There does not seem to be rhyme nor reason for turn around times, mine was 15 days from mailing form to receiving license.

Go to this site:
www.atf.gov/firearms/fflc/060709fflc-roster.pdf It gives a list of all the staff at ATF's Licensing Center. Call the person on the list that's in charge of your state and politely ask why there is such a long delay. When my renewal took too long I called the woman in charge of Florida. She called back and very politely told me that she was running behind because they had just moved to WV. She told me that if she couldn't renew my license (03 FFL) before the old one expired, she would send me a letter extending the expiring license. I got the renewal in time and was pleasently surprised at the prompt and cordial response. HTH.
