Attaching a recoil pad |

I had a cracked butt stock off a #4 Lee Enfield that I shortened. Now the screws for the recoil pad interfere with the sling screws. I guess I could glue it
on with "Super Glue" But I was wondering about "Velcro" ???

As the butt is no longer standard anyway, drill out the screw holes, plug them with the appropriate sized dowel, and use a shorter screw, which won't
interfere with the swivel screws, to mount the recoil pad.
