I'd sure like to have one of those on my wall. Nice piece Z. |

+1 drool I was recently surprised to learn the M1A1s are heavier by a smidge or two than the standard carbine!

This was the first "real" M-1A that I've ever got to handle.
It's always a treat when Zee comes down for a visit. He thanked me for taking the pics and posting them for him, I thanked him for letting me get to see and handle such nice C&R pieces.

I'm coming down there where y'all are....to kibbutz a bit, maybe even take the odd road trip with ZeeBill.....obviously most of all the fine gentlemen

The road trips are OK except for the blindfold bit he puts you through, but it's worth it to get to some of the honey-holes he's got secreted away on
the back roads of the eastern US.
The man does his homework and research, then pounces like a tiger on a great milsurp buy. I've watched him work a gunshow a few times and it is unreal. You can be walking right beside him, pause for a second to look at an accessory, then look up a few seconds later and he's got an SA marked M91 on his shoulder that he didn't have just seconds before.
