Remington marked percussian rifle / photos
I'm trying to find out whether this is a rifle made using the Remington barrel and lock only, or whether an actual firearm made by the Remington company. I know little of this period, but it would seem to be just pre-Civil War. Any information or comments most appreciated. If anyone could pass me on to a Remington historian, that would be a great help. Thanks.
