New to me VZ-24 |

I'm new to the group and mew to VZ24s. ANd I'm hooked! I just received my first one from SOG. Is is an E3 Lion 37. I'd call it 80% original blue.
The receiver has been scrubbed. No crest or anything on the bridge. The barrel and receiver are the only things that match, #555_. The stock and bolt are not
heavy with cosmoline. The stock is dark and grimy. The bore is the only problem. The rifling fades to nothing about an inch from the muzzle. It has not been
counterbored. I rammed a 40cal. roundball down the barrel. Very shallow rifling. The receiver is in great condition. No rust or pits. Anyone have information
on where this might have been during its life? Thanks in advance.
