NIB Taurus 608 .357 Magnum 6 1/2 inch ribed and ported EIGHT SHOT .357. Pity the bastard who counts to six and figures he's safe...
Took it to the range yesterday. After a little of sighting in at 50 feet it will shoot 1 1/2 inch groups with .38 wadcutters resting on my range bag on a bench. I'm sure the gun could do even better with better shooting skills. I think this will replace my Smith 66 that's bee in my bedside safe for about 16 years as my primary home defense unit.
Recoil with mid-range 125 grain .357 handloads was very mild, more like a non-ported gun with .38's. I'm a believer.
