Ishapore 2A 7.62 NATO B-Square Scope Mount
I received the B-Square #18590 mount yesterday. The installation instructions that came with it is the most useless piece of paper I've seen in awhile. Maybe someone here with prior experience with one of these can help me. The back mount screw replaces the small screw on the back of the receiver. Now on the front of the mount is a screw, spacer, and an offset oval type nut that the instructions call a "clamp". No way can this be a clamp in my terminology. Is this thing really suppose to "clamp" onto the top side of the receiver, or is it just a guide to lay across the top side of the receiver to support the front of the mount? If you install the screw, spacer, and tighten the oval offset nut it cannot tighten against the receiver, which makes me think it is just a support. Thanks!
