I bought it to display with my 1895 Chilean, but I'm curious how it shoots. Any experiences with this stuff? The cases show a light amount of surface corrosion but there are no split necks or any heavy corrosion/staining.

The country making the purchase would have specified how the boxes were to be labeled. They wouldn't have expected their soldiers to read German. 'holic

Depends on what country the ammo was produced for as to what is going to be on the label. We have the fun chore of sorting through it all and figuring out who made what for where.

Coruña and dwm ammunition 7,92 cal. in the last seventies in Spain, it was the standard caliber in Franco's era changed to 7,62 in the lasts years of the dictatorship. I get the boxes directly from an "hermetic" case of german origin dated 1936. The boxes and balls looks as new as recently shipped from the factory. The 15 bullets in each box worked perfectly, especially when compared with newer Spanish ammunition. Boxes were not labeled in Spanish, only a bas-relief mark indicating the caliber. I'll try to upload some photos of one of the boxes I have yet, but the action of time has tarnished quite the intense brightness of this "new" ammunition.
