I did put my new production IAI stock and an M2 handguard that matches on it since the action was a bit loose in the original and the original handguard rattled a bit. I want a nice fit since my main reason for buying it is to shoot in the RBGC CMP carbine match.
I honestly don't think that there is anything that is more fun to plink with than an M1 carbine.
I guess it stands to reason with as many carbines that have served the Korean military in the last 60 years they should know well how to make magazines for them.
Of course I did take an original Inland mag along just in case.
