Been on vacation this week. Stopped in a pawn shop a couple days ago in Cairo,Ga and found this 91/59 built from a 1940 dated 91/30. Barrel is in poor shape from corrosive ammo but does have promise. The real down side is it is in a ATI stock. May be able to use a M38 or M44 stock but the hand guard will be a problem. I have the gun so is it worth the restoration effort or should I keep it as a trunk gun? All the numbers do match on the bolt /barrel. Also scored a nice 1938 dated Izzy 91/30 with a sharp bore.
