I bought an inexpensive airsoft pistol from Walmart not so long ago, my first exposure to the type, and I'm just having a ball shooting the thing at a cardboard trap in the house.
Has anyone else tried one of these things for informal practice and fun?
The one I have is a clear plastic, Sig type single shot spring action with removable mag holster and cleaning rod. The mag release, safety and slide lock-back work well and with 20g bbs it is pretty accurate at typical indoor distances. I've not tried it out doors because I don't want the neighbors calling the SWAT in on me.
I haven't tried any of the 6mm paintballs yet, that's for springtime fun with colour.
